EC（European Commission、欧州委員会）は、6月30日、Adra（AI, Data and Robotics Association）※とパートナーシップを締結した。
本パートナーシップは、2021～2030年の期間に、Horizon Europeから割り当てられる13億ユーロの公共投資と13億ユーロの民間投資を活用し、欧州におけるAI（Artificial Intelligence、人工知能）・データ・ロボティクスの研究・開発・展開で世界をリードするという課題に取り組むもの。
AdraのプレジデントのMarina Bill氏は、「本パートナーシップの重要な役割は、欧州のAI、データ、ロボティクスの技術を支えるコミュニティーを調整し、まとめることだ」と述べている。
※Adraは、パートナーシップの法人関係部門（プライベートサイド）として、 BDVA（Big Data Value Association）、CLAIRE（Confederation of Laboratories of Artificial Intelligence in Europe）、ELLIS（European Laboratory for Learning and Intelligent Systems）、EurAI（European Association for Artificial Intelligence）、euRobot（European Robotics Association）という欧州の5組織によって5月21日に設立された。
