AIP Publishingは、3月10日、PNNL（ Pacific Northwest National Laboratory、パシフィックノースウェスト国立研究所）※とRead & Publish契約を締結したと発表した。契約は2022年から3年間。
これにより、同研究所に所属する研究者は、AIP Publishingの11の査読ジャーナルにAPC（論文掲載料）を支払うことなくOA（オープンアクセス）で論文を出版でき、また30のジャーナルへの無制限のアクセスが可能になる。
※化学、地学、生物学、データサイエンスに強く、持続可能なエネルギー問題に取り組む米国エネルギー省傘下の研究所。1965年設立。
