AIP Publishingは、5月11日、スペインのCSIC（Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas、科学研究高等評議会）とRead & Publish契約を締結したと発表した。契約は3年。
これにより、CSICのすべての研究者は、選択したAIP Publishingのジャーナルに、APC（論文掲載料）を支払うことなくOA（オープンアクセス）で論文を出版できる。
CSICは、スペイン全土に点在する100以上の研究機関およびセンターからなる公的機関。
