ICSTI（International Council for Scientific and Technical Information、国際科学技術情報委員会）は、10月13日に、" ICSTI Connections: Challenges and opportunities in harvesting open access materials "を開催する。
ICSTI Connectionsシリーズは、ICSTIの会員が経験および知識を共有・議論するためのディスカッションフォーラムで、今回のテーマはOA（オープンアクセス）資料およびリポジトリのハーベスティング。
当日はIAEA（International Atomic Energy Agency、国際原子力機関）のINIS（International Nuclear Information System）※のコーディネーターBrian Bales氏が発表した後、OAデータハーベスティングに関わるインターフェースを中心にディスカッションを行うという。
※原子核科学技術の平和利用に関わる世界最大級のコレクションをホストする情報システム。
