IFLA、情報化社会動向レポートを発表

国際図書館連盟（IFLA）は、シンガポールで開催中の第79回年次会合の場で、情報化社会を形成する動向を調査した"Trend Report"を発表した。5大動向は以下のとおり。和文はその概要。

1.New Technologies will both expand and limit who has access to information.
情報へのアクセスの拡大・制限は、情報リテラシーの有無次第である。

2.Online Education will democratise and disrupt global learning.
オンライン教育リソースの普及で、生涯学習の価値と正規・非正規学習の認識が高まる。

3.The boundaries of privacy and data protection will be redefined.
政府や企業の所有するデータによる個人プロファイリングが進み、通信データのモニタリングなどで個人監視が容易にできる。プライバシー見直し問題が浮上。

4.Hyper-connected societies will listen to and empower new voices and groups.
超連結（hyper-connected）社会では、集団行動のチャンスが増え、開かれた政府イニシアチブなどでより透明な市民中心の公共サービスが生まれる。

5.The global information environment will be transformed by new technologies.
超連結のモバイル機器やセンサー網などが蔓延し、世界の情報経済を変革させる。
